Kawaf Art Gallery (KAG) was established in 1996. Since then, it performed many exhibitions for well-known artists, The Gallery is visited by a mass number of the Fine Arts movement fans and followers in the region. The media, repeatedly, reflected its activities for its distinguished perfor-mance in the Fine Arts Field.

أقامت صالة القواف منذ أن تأسست عام 1996 العديد من المعارض الفنية لعدد كبير من الفنانين التشكيليين ويرتادها جمهور كبير من متابعي الحركة الفنية التشكيلية نظراً لتميزها بمستوى عروضها وروادها وقد أشادت وسائل الإعلام المتنوعة مراراً بحضور وفعالية نشاطها على الساحة الفنية.

ونالت صالة القواف شهادة تقدير من نقابة الفنون الجميلة بدمشق عام 1997 لإسهامها في إبراز دور الفن التشكيلي السوري.

KAG deserved the Appreciation Certificate from the Damascus Fine Arts Syndicate in 1997 for its valued contributions in highlighting the Fine Arts in Syria.

KAG has prematurely realized the importance of the new technology tools in helping the Syrian Artist to be introduced and be spread internation-ally. July 22nd, 2002 was the birthday of its own and first Fine Art web site in Syria in both Arabic and English www.kawaf-artgallery.com This site is created to serve, live, the relation between the artist and the public enriching the social life by providing fine art education. It is under continuous development.

ولتطوير نشاطها الفني بما يواكب متطلبات العصر بهدف الأداء الأمثل نحو الإنتشار، وإسهاماً منها في التعريف بالفنان السوري وإبراز دور الفن التشكيلي السوري عالمياً قامت بإنشاء موقعها الخاص www.kawaf-artgallery.com على شبكة الإنترنيت بتاريخ 22/6/2002 باللغتين العربية والإنكليزية وهو يعتبر الموقع الفني التشكيلي الأول في سوريا بحجم فعالياته بما يخدم العلاقة بين الفنان والمتلقي مباشرة، وبتفعيل دور الثقافة الفنية التشكيلية في الحياة الاجتماعية. وهو بتطوير مستمر.

Traditionally, KAG, with the participation of a mass number of Syrian Artists, starts its arts events season by a collective exhibition called (The Masterpieces Exhibition). That is in addition to group, social, various activities and other individual exhibitions like the one of the late Fateh Mudaress which was KAG’s first individual opening exhibition.

وقد اتبعت الصالة تقليداً سنوياً بافتتاح الموسم الفني للمعارض بإقامة معرض جماعي باسم (معرض الروائع) بمشاركة عدد كبير من الفنانين التشكيليين السوريين، بالإضافة لإقامة المعارض المشتركة والاجتماعية الهادفة والأنشطة المختلفة والمعارض الفردية والتي افتتحت بها الصالة معرضها الفردي الأول للفنان الراحل فاتح المدرس.

* Dr. Mhd. Moustafa Miro, Prime Minister at the official opening ceremony of KAG in early 1997 When he was the Mayor of Aleppo.

* للسيد رئيس مجلس الوزراءالدكتور محمد مصطفى ميرو حينما كان محافظاً لمدينة حلب عام 1997 تقديراً منها لرعايته افتتاح الصالة ودعمه للنشاط الفني في مدينة حلب.

* Fateh Al Moudarres (in 1997). In appreciation to the artist after having spent 10 year away from Aleppo.KAG performed its first individual exhibition

* للفنان فاتح المدرس عام 1997 تقديراً منها لإقامة أول معرض فردي تقيمه الصالة بعد غياب نشاط الفنان عن مدينة حلب دام 10 سنوات.

* Saad Yagan (in 1997) upon performing his distin-guished individual exhibition at KAG entitled "Gilgamesh".

* للفنان سعد يكن عام 1997 تقديراُ منها لإقامة المعرض الفردي المتميز في صالة القواف بموضوع (جلجامش).

* Mr. Giles Claudon, France Consul in Aleppo (2000). In appreciation to his artistic preoccupa-tions and his eager interest to know all about KAG activities.

* للسيد جيل كلودون قنصل فرنسا بحلب  عام 2000 تقديراُ منها لاهتماماته الفنية ومتابعته لأنشطة الصالة الفنية.
